What are our goals?

We want to meet talented innovators who think about globally scalable businesses. The goal of mideas is to help achieve business success from round 0. We are a loyal partner that shares the same interests with you: we want to start profitable business locally and abroad that will be sustainable on the long run.

Confidentiality

Under no circumstances will we share any information uploaded through the mideas web site with third parties nor will we use that without the involvement and approval of the inventor.

The mideas system automatically creates a Confidentiality Statement where we pledge to treat all shared data and information strictly confidential. Furthermore we state that we will not violate any intellectual property that was shared with us.

Adherence to the Confidentiality Statement is secured by the Pannon Startup Foundation.

What do we expect from you?

What are the conditions for application?

You must be a Hungarian citizen over 18 years of age living either in or outside Hungary. Other nationals are also welcome to apply but they must reside in Hungary.

You must have a good idea that has international potential. Have you already started on the execution? Not a problem, we like self-starters.

We also like and give preferential considerations to students, entry-level candidates and young professionals.

How the selection is done?

You need to upload all your application data through the mideas web site.
After registration, fill out the downloadable business plan sheet.
Upload the complete business plan and other explanatory materials you may have.
We evaluate two main aspects of your concept: the innovation’s novelty factor and global scalability.
First round results will be sent to the applicants by email not later than 90 days from the application.

The second round includes a personal presentation where the applicants can introduce their idea in detail.

Our experienced team selects the most promising applicants and starts working with them. If the project proves to be viable, our decision makers will provide the necessary financing as well as follow-on investment opportunities if necessary.

Closing of an investment does not mean the end of the mideas program. We continuously support our entrepreneurs throughout their journey.
